As the business continues to grow and supply sweets and treats throughout the UK, we wanted to protect our brand with a registered trade mark, during the process it was highlighted that there is a company in Europe with CandyKing protected there and across the UK. As we were The Candy King - Retro Sweet Hampers, it was felt that the names were too close to allow our trademark to be registered. As such we have agreed to change or name to The Candy Kid - Retro sweet Hampers (after Caitlin 15yrs) that started the business. Its seems apt to brand inline with the founders age in mind. The rebranding will take place from April 23 and website content and branding will be aligned with The Candy Kid name:
